Gia Style Card // Military Fashion

During some styling this weekend i came up with this fine stylish combination of designs. I was getting told to be inspired by the rl Military Fashion and this was something i needed to dare to do and i must say i mixed and matched all the way haha.

Military fashion as a trend is nothing new. But with all that’s going on in the world the military trend couldn’t be more present-day and that’s why this look refuses to submit as it keeps evolving into new variations.

This season designers rl and on sl took their inspiration browsing through every military uniform era in the archives. From Napoleonic styled jackets with high stand collars to gold bordered hussar influenced garments to admiral coats, the military jacket is a winter fashion statement. Think metal buttons and stick to colours like navy, grey and even red. Leave khaki hues for the spring season. Add a bit of runway glamour by teaming up the jacket with jeans or jersey dresses and knee high boots.

First i started with my jacket. The jacket you are seeing is a part of the Diram Cheryl Attire. The black top under my jacket is coming from Cynthia Smit, i used the partygirl top in black/silver. To get a good trendy pants i thought that would be difficult but when you want something original why dont you go to CheerNo, they also have some female designs (and i hope they will make more of them). The pants is the CheerNo Femme Samy Pants and just look at those cool details at the sides of the pants.

Then we get to a point where we need boots hahaa and that was one of the hardest stuff because you want something trendy and dont endup with shoes you always wear so i choose the black western boots from J’s

Something i love to use are those female gloves where you see some of your vingers and hands, i remember i saw them at xplosion and used the blacklace space gloves from them. The nails i am using are from Caithlin Carter (the diva black nails). The belt is from Mandala, and the sunglasses are from Steinwerk Designs. My earrings come from Glow Studio today and last but not least is my hair from Argrace and is named the Military Cap “Loose Chignon”.

Hey guys, It is the best time of the week again, Friday night~! Woohoo! So I am sure everyone is getting dress, ready to roll out and party till dawn so I am sure not many of you will be reading this until you are too drunk tomorrow in the morning so I will be quick with this.

Today’s outfit started when I saw this new hair made by Din Raymaker the creator of Uncleweb.Studio. This hair was made in conjunction with Yaszi Mornington from [Meriken Co.]. I must admit that when I first got the hair it was more of an impulse buy, cause I like products from both brand for detail and quality and a product from both of them together is just too hard to resist. I did regret for a moment since I am usually not a guy that wears long hair and I was having a bit of a trouble finding what to wear till I saw this music video where the guitarist had the same style which gave me the idea. But the outfit he had on was more colorful and funky which is not really what I am looking for here

So I decided to go with that same outfit but more neutral colors and the first thing I found are these pants also from [Meriken Co.], these are design to actually work in 3 styles, shorts, cropped and normal pants, it comes with cuff for shorts and cropped/pants which you will have to adjust according to your needs.

The tailor suit top with shirt and tie are from Argrace, this was part of their release during last Fall. For those who know me, they know that I am a big fan of the brand because their product are just hard to pick on, I have had trouble with other brands on their clothing but never with Argrace and on top of that, their product for the price of one, you usually get quite a few options in the package to play around with, for example with this jacket, you get the jacket, the jacket with a horizontal stripe tee shirt and as you seen in the picture, the jacket with shirt and tie. For each option, the jacket comes with the corresponding sleeves and an extra set which is the rolled up as you can see on the picture. There are also 5 ties options which you can pick the pattern from. As for the shoes it is also from Argrace from the same season release. These are angle high boots which comes with a resize script.

As for the hair, this long hair is what I got and had trouble with at first but still it is a good purchase, the backed texture of the hat, the detail of the coloring on the strings , the flexi long hair all are worth every linden you spent on it. The hair style is available in 2 hat color, and with a variety of hair colors to choose from.

And on accessories, I choose to use this ring which is the oldest ring I got from GaBriel. I am not sure as to whether it is still there but there are many other designs at the store which will serve the same purpose and even might look better.

The guitar is a gift from the recent hunting9 hunt hosted by +grasp+, this guitar comes from Kumaki Glasses Style it comes with a simple pose HUD which you can use to do some poses for with the guitar but right here at the Photo, I am using one pose from the Rock star series from Gliterrati and the other one is a self made one

Hey guys! For those who still haven’t notice, the Make Him Over Hunt 3rd edition is still on and running and today I am presenting to you another one of the great hunt prize you will find in it among all the other great stuff, this bright yellow hoodie from Connors. As many of you might notice, I am not a really bright color person, but this hoodie was just too good to miss out on. The item comes with sculpt hood and sleeves. The sleeves are a bit hard to fit but it should be no problem if you are able to fit previous items I have showed here at the blog, the hood on the other hand is a bit easier to work with as it comes with a resize script. I particularly like the idea of the prim strings on the hood as mostly I see these “hand draw” on the jacket layer on many hoodies out there and I am not a big fan of such.

The pants you see here are from dEVOL. These jeans I originally got at the beginning of the year for doing a magazine shot and there are now, one of the most used pair of jeans in my inventory. These are part of a series by dEVOL which is name Jean01. The pack, if you should choose to buy so, comes in 4 different style, emblem as shown here, number, paint, and plane. Each comes with 2 types of length and of course, the prim cuffs. The pants layer comes in both pants and underpants and are both mod enable for in case you need the adjustment. I picked these emblem ones because I really like the actual RL logos on the jeans, is not something like the others I have seen with made up brands and logos.

The shoes are PRO_SPEC from 2REAL. I have already mention them once too many time in past blog post so I will save you all from the boring reruns and just say, if you don’t have them, GO GET THEM NOW! These you see on these picture are set to complete gold texture, not sure why it has some kind of patterns on part of the texture but it doesn’t look all that bad. I particularly like these kind of shoes (together with the UBU Drunks and The 2REAL PURE) cause most my real life sneakers, I got them from NikeID which lets me recolor or texture the shoes like I want it to.

The necklace is from fairy tail which is part of a series joker I have mention before to you all. It is also available in a choker type necklace and a ring.

And here is another great new item I found recently at Argrace, the reversed baseball cap. The baseball cap have been one of the best items of the collection from Argrace, and it is widely used in the past. These new version keeps the same quality with the usual resize and re-coloring script. The cap currently comes with 2 style of hair or cap only, shaggy as seen here, curly and cap only. But so far, the reverse cap series is only available for men, not sure if there will be a women series so we will all have to wait and see.

Hey guys! Today I am presenting to you another great style. Now I put this style together a while back now so there is nothing new here but I it is one of my favorite so far and as well as for those friends of mine who have seen it. I wasn’t going to blog about this style since my selfish self wanted to keep it to myself but as my first post after I had to make my flickr account pro, (T.T) I decide to show it to you all as to commemorate this historical moment XD

For those of you who spent a lot of time on youtube (Don’t know why but people here tend to get online just to surf youtube for no reason…) You might remember the video where I got the idea of these outfit from but ofcourse, I added a few details of my own to it.

The Hat and Jacket are from Argrace. I have previously blog about this hunting hat in another style, it is as all Argrace hair/hat style, comes with a resize and recoloring script inside. As for the Jacket, this is one of my earliest purchase from the store. It comes with sculpt body and collar as well as sleeves and you can wear it in 3 different ways, as a jacket with a black v neck shirt underneath as shown here, the jacket only, or as a vest. The item comes in 6 colors for men, and 10 for women.

As for the pants, I am using the ones from the previous blog post, The nakedtree RockersPick casual jeans but this time, I am working with the prim cuffs which I didn’t show previously. The shoes are my old drunks from Urban bomb unit, textured completely in Gold.

As for accessories, I choose the aviator III in gun metal texture from FNKY. Now while these extremely looks good in picture, you are warned that this are not detail sculpt prim glasses, so it might not look so nice in world but still great for pictures none the less. And the leather bracelets from grasp which I think are the best free store gift they have come out with and these are also the ones that have been available at the store for the longest time. Some other gifts have come out afterward and has been taken down but these bracelets still stays on.

Last but not least, my headphones. These are from boon. No no, not boom, boon they are two different stores. The product comes in several patterns as well as this one with solid color which comes with a color changing script with 9 colors available. Note that if you can’t get the blue menu when you click the headphone, click and hold down for a second or two, it will pop up. Each set of these comes with 2 headphones, for the neck as you see on the style picture as well as for the head.

AF2010 Special // Bad Boy

Hey guys! Well The fair is still going on for those who still haven’t been there, I know lot of you are waiting for it to cool down on traffics by the end of the month but it is looking doubtful so far so just go there and rezz it shop by shop or you might not have the time on the last days. Lol Anyways, today I am presenting my 6th style for the accessory fair and I am very pleased with myself as this I think has been the style that I have put together with the most items I got from the fair so far.

Let’s start from head to toe with the hat. This hat is part of the new release from Argace, is the military hat worn backward which not part of the preview on their flickr was until release which took me by surprise. The cap although seems to be just a hat, it actually has “very short” hair with it and as always, it comes with a resizing and texture changing script which for 250L, is a real bargain. And as all hat/hair from the store, is a must have.

The rest of the outfits are old items which still worth mentioning, the white tank is from Aoharu which Machang as always did an amazing job on the texture. Cargo shorts from with all sculpt pockets and cuffs and my 2REAL Pro Spec in the original graffiti design.

Next, let’s look at the accessories I got again from head to toe, the first item would be this headphone. The headphone is from Kumaki Glasses Style, the product comes in four version for attachment on mouth, nose, spine and chest. The item also comes with color changing script which makes it suitable for many different looks you might want to achieve, the outstanding thing about this headphone is the detail texture of the cushioning and also the inside where you can see the detail of the phone.

Next item on the list would be the glasses from PrimOptic. These glasses are of simple design, yet very detail and well made. These glasses comes with the usual features like lens and frame options, position on head or nose and adjustment you can make through the menu but it also comes with “gadgets” what you ask? Well the glasses comes with a TP history record which allows you to trace back the last 10 places you have been even if you have been offline which is something that even emerald is not capable of. Also, it comes with a flight enchancer, yes, the flight feather is build in to these glasses if you need them you can turn them on and off through the menu.

The necklace I got is from Glow studio. I really like wearing keys around my neck, Is just looks very good to me and I remember once seeing this diamond key pendant on this music video and I was so excited and wanted to get one, of course that never happens as I am sure the pendant would have cost me a fortune. These keys here come in pack of 4 for both male and female and in 2 colors, gold and silver. I am wearing the silver version (Duh) and I particularly love that in the middle of the bunch of old style keys, you have if I am not mistaken, a car key which gives you a contrast which it’s modern design.

I am also wearing a watch from Shade Throne, I am not a big fan of watches since I think it is kind of pointless as well as having a computer or a cell-phone in world which is mostly just for decoration and waste of prim but these watch I just had to get it first of all cause of the modern look which I am a big fan of, secondly the texture with the reflecting light on the rubber makes it just so much more realistic, and again with the option of setting it to your rl time just makes it a great item in my inventory.

Finally one of the best items I have found on the fair, my new prim nails, now we have seen girls with their nails and there are many brands of these out there, but these I have on are design for man, yes man! Prim nails are no longer an exclusive item for women. These nails comes in 2 version, nails only pack or nails with accessory pack (the pack has a “+” sign at the end) The ones you see here are the ones with the accessories, each packs comes with nails for 2 hand size, 40 and 50 and they are fully scripted with many features. The pack you see here the nails can be colored all together, or individually. Also you can select weather to wear them with ring, wrist chain and finger bands or just the nails alone. These options are available for both hands but there is more, for the right hand you will have a cigarette as an extra option to hold between your fingers as shown in the first picture with the complete style and for the left hand you will get this…

A mobile phone which automatically scroll through different screens. Both items comes with an animation which makes these nails one of my favorite item so far from the fair.
