GLANCE International Agency (GIA), SL’s premier fashion marketing and public relations agency is proud to extend to the fashion community the invitation to attend it’s “Prom Night 2011” to be hosted on Saturday, June 4th from 12 PM SLT to 4PM SLT.

“GLANCE Model Academy’s Prom Night is an evening to remember, so make sure to mark your calendar!”, announced Roe Woodford, GLANCE Model Academy Dean. “Kicking off with a fashion show featuring impeccable creations by SHIKI Design, Baiastice, Chantkare and Aleida, the event will play host to fashionable contests and mini-events where prizes will be given away to the crowd, all leading up to our first ever Prom Night’s King and Queen being crowned! I’m looking forward to discovering the winners of this first edition!”

Prom Night 2011 is the second event planned by GLANCE Model Academy to celebrate fashion education in SL. Throughout the event, 4 lucky visitors will be selected randomly to receive a cash prize of 1,000L$ each, 4 other lucky visitors will be selected randomly to receive a shopping spree worth 1,000L$ at sponsors’ shops (SHIKI Design, Baiastice, Chantkare and Aleida) and one lucky visitor will go back home with a paid tuition for GLANCE Model Academy (worth 8,000L$) for a final giveaway of 16,000L$ in cash and prizes for the 2011 edition of GLANCE International Agency’s annual “Prom Night”.

— Special edition showcasing RFL of SL 2011 exclusive creations –

GLANCE International Agency (GIA), SL’s premier fashion marketing and public relations agency is proud to extend to the fashion community the invitation to attend “HOMME STYLE TV Episode #3: Special RFL of SL 2011 Edition” to be hosted on Saturday, May 28th at 1PM SLT.

Since April 1st of this year GIA has coordinated and sponsored several distinctive, exclusive and fashionable events in collaboration with the grid’s most celebrated and successful designers and content creators. Events thusfar have raised over 225,000 linden dollars all with proceeds going 100% to benefit Relay For Life® of SL. Included in the latest event “GLANCE Showroom #48 RFL Event Charity Auction” was the extra offer to potential male bidders, a coveted spot on HOMME STYLE TV, in recognition of their generous charity donation.

The third episode of HOMME STYLE TV is a unique and original event with runway stylings modelled by the winning bidders for each of the genuine one-of-a-kind outfits created and donated by the auction sponsors. We would like to thank once again the charitable and talented fashion minds who made the male-centric part of this project possible:

SHIKI Designs (Shinichi Mathy), 22769 Couture (Paco Pooley and Manuel Ormidale), G&T Creations (Greenie Lane), Havana (Ricco Saenz), Mohna Lisa Couture (Mohna Lisa) and Nefertiti Kimagawa (eponymous brand).

The show will also feature new-for-spring fashion selections from each of the designers. Each design for the show is fitted and styled to it’s finest level and presented to the audience in-world and then available for viewing on the official website of Rezzed TV.

All models will walk the runway for the cause!

Did you know the mall of the International Fashion Week 2010 (IFW10) will ONLY close on Saturday, July 31st at 1 PM SLT ? Yes! You still have two weeks to grab the IFW10 exclusive gifts, releases and runway looks. Today, I’m presenting “Jersey Shore”, an ensemble meticulously produced by Shinichi Mathy.

The name of the design intrigued me, having heard of a USA TV show named similarly. “Jersey Shore” looks like the perfect summer mini dress, with splash of teal and pale yellow nuances brushed over the dominant pale turquoise fabric. A delicious mini skirt twirls around you as you walk around the International Fashion Week’s Mall, revealing your silky legs. I chose to wear the gorgeous, modern flats named “Rosario ballet” by London Dailey. The version shown above have been specifically designed for the 2.0 viewer of Second Life – though you will also find a version for the regular (older) viewer. Pearl is one of my favorite tone for the summer, this is why I decided to match my shoes with the “Dream Catcher” bag from Fri.day that I purchased during their latest sales, few weeks ago. The hairstyle is a mix of a short cut and a gorgeous round head piece, both from “epoque” store, by the talented Vintage McMillan. Get a summer style in a few clicks!
