Hey guys, Is Friday~!!! Yes, the working days of the week are almost over and it is time to relax… what to do on the weekend… Well got plans with friends since is someone's birthday and I saw the ad for a movie, the remake of a classical fairy tale, Alice In Wonderland. Most of us known the story and the characters by heart now and this time, in the advertising campaign, they are focusing on the character Mad Hatter as it is play by Johnny Depp.

Now I know that someone have made the exact hat and hair from the design of the movie but it is to exotic for my taste (I like things I can actually wear when I go on on the street in RL) so I decided to make my own hatter look.

The look today is pretty simple and clean. I tried to stay away from many layers. Why? Because it is finally getting warm here. If I continue having thick clothes on my avi, I think I will faint of the heat. I already have enough with having to wear a suit to work, I don't want to look at my virtual self in that too.

The tank top I have on is from SG design, it is one of the extra tanks you can use to replace the one you get with the Tokyo Coat or the Dendi Jacket. It comes in all layer and in the store you will find 7 colors as well as 3 styles of this tank (plain and 2 printed versions each with 7 colors available). I choose the red tank here because the color reminds me of the queen of hearts in the story. As for the pants, I choose to use these vintage pair from Aoharu which I have previously blogged in another style when I first got them on the last winter sale. The washed texture and looks very realistic as I have mention before and the pants comes with prim cuffs, 2 belts and also is copy enable and modifiable for when you need to fit them in boots or make a pair of shorts out of them. The shoes are the UBU Drunks which are very old now and everyone seems to be paying attention to another pair of sneakers similar to these by a new designer. I think they both looks great in their own ways and they are not replacement of each other.

As for accessories, I only choose to use the clock necklace ‘loy’ from chronokit which was one of the gift from the last winter choice stamp rally. Although smaller, it does reminds me of the pocket watch from the bunny who is always in a hurry.

And finally, the Hat which is the center of the whole outfit today. I choose to use this one from Cheerno. The Hat comes in pack of 3 colors for the hair and there are 5 packs available, including one pack of what I call “crazy” colors. The hat itself is not color changeable which would be an improvement which I would suggest but the headband which is under it has texture changing script in it by clicks.

And as for the pose, it is custom made by Silver Milneaux which I think it looks perfect from what I had in mind, she is currently making some poses for sale and I hope they will be release soon.

Here is the style sheet:

Hair/Hat: Casa CheerNo: a.C – STD.GloXhair LATIN.brazil [Wet sanD] (Headband Color Change)

Tank: -SG Fashion-: Dendi Tank Bordo

Pants: AOHARU: BT_VintageDenim_Dark (comes with belt)

Shoes: (Urban Bomb Unit): Drunks (Color Change)

Necklace: *chronokit*: clock necklace ‘loy’

I hope everyone like my outfit of the day.

Until next time,
